        Natural Characteristics

        The red spruce, known as Picea rubens, is the provincial tree of Nova Scotia and grows in American forests from Vermont to North Carolina, along the Appalachians. Our elegant recreation features a narrow conical crown, medium to short light green needles, and reddish-brown branches to achieve a very natural and woodsy appearance.

    I just wasn't up for picking out a live tree this year, which I've always always had. I have resisted going the artificial route but I'm glad that I decided to!     This tree arrived right on time. It showed up in beautiful packaging. Unpacking it, the tree was very well protected while shipped. The storage bags for the tree are wonderful, sturdy, and easy to maneuver. They send extra parts and lights for your tree. The Tree is easy to put together. Lights were beautiful.

    This was my second purchase. Unfortunately I could not keep my first tree (Vermont White Spruce) which I loved as I was moving. The Red Spruce is not a nice as the Vermont White but it is still a very good looking tree.
